We’ll be selling tickets in front of Butler before and after school today, tomorrow and Friday. We will also sell the tickets at the event on Friday, but it is better to buy your tickets now to avoid the long lines at the event.
Also, by pre-purchasing your ticket, it helps us plan for the event and ensure we will have enough food on hand so that everyone is fed.
Cost is $5 per person—which includes unlimited golf, a hot dog and a drink. You can also purchase a commemorative photo for $5.
The PTA has asked for the Dads Club’s help with this year’s talent show. We need 4 or 5 dads that are good at herding cats. We will be responsible for lining up the acts and making sure they are ready to go on stage. If you can help please let us know by leaving your contact info in the comments below.
The talent show will be held up at Butler on Friday, February 25th at 6:30pm. It usually runs late, but you don’t worry if you can’t work the whole time. We need the most help at the beginning of the show.
It is time to finish what we started. It was a little too wet to get much done back on our last work day. So, we are planning another work day in the school garden for Sunday, October 17th from 1 to 3pm. If you can help, please show up and meet at the garden located directly behind the school.
All dads should bring gloves and a lopper, rake, shovel, weed wacker or whatever garden tools you can. We will need a tiller if someone could signup for that (Roland?).
The Pope Dads Club has requested our help for their Fall Festival. We need at least 5 dads to come help them with setup and operation of their biggest event of the year. We owe it to Pope because they had about a dozen dads come help out with our Father Daughter dance.
We have a lot of positions to be filled to help setup and run the Father Daughter Dance on Friday, November 12th. We encourage all those dads with sons to work the event so that those dads with daughters can spend time enjoying the event with their daughter. Please use the link below to the sign-up form to sign-up.
